Travel in STYLE: The Musical Road to Greenville, SC

It’s no wonder with the phenomenal music scene (part of the weekly summer grind ) Greenville, SC was ranked one of the Top 15 Places for Young People by Forbes Magazine.

Known as one of the Best Places to Live and the last place that Lynyrd Skynyrd played as a full band in 1977, Greenville, South Carolina has fully embraced a strong musical heritage.  Home to the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, Carolina Pops Orchestra, the Greenville Light Opera Works (GLOW), the Palmetto Statesmen Barbershop Chorus and the Greenville Chorale’s 160 voice choral group, this town knows how to bring down the house!

The summer season is a thriving musical environment in this town; bringing people out of hibernation from the cold winter months and into the brightly shining sun for live music, paid and free alike.
