Transitional Fashion: 4 Things to Buy Now for Fall

Transitional Fashion: 4 Things to Buy Now for Fall

Your favorite stores are having huge summer sales with discounts up to 75% off. It’s very tempting to get bought up in buying something simply because it’s a great deal. However, going shopping with goals and a bit of direction can save you time and money. Below are some tips how to score some summer sale buys that will work perfect for fall

1. Buy Accessories

Accessories are traditionally season less, but stores must get ride of older inventory to make room for the new. I love this wool scarf from J. Crew , or this super cute metal barrette from Urban Outfitters or this very urban chic striped backpack.

2. Buy Bright Colored Skirts

Fortunately, bright colors will still be on trend for fall, particularly blues and greens. Scoop up a new skirt that you will wear now and later with tights and boots. This green cheetah one by Worthington  and this Dorthy Perkins gray pencil skirt are both steals at $17 each.

3. Buy Lightweight Sweaters

The lightweight sweaters that hit shelves for spring are prefect for the first few weeks of fall. If you are lucky, you can even find some heaver sweaters that are still hanging around from winter season. This graphic print shear sweater and this color blocked oatmeal one are perfect transitions into fall.

4. Buy A Great Dress

Dresses are one of my favorite wardrobe items. They make getting dressed easy plus you can wear them all year around when you throw a sweater or cardigan over it for winter. Three of my favorite sale finds are this black shift dress (Only $11), this Multicolor Ink Painting Bodycon dress and this color block straight cut dress.
