Spa at Home: DIY Lavender Foot Scrub

Spa at Home: DIY Lavender Foot Scrub

When thinking of at home beauty treatments, our faces get all of the attention. However, behind the scenes,Β  its our feet that put in most of the work (especially when you won’t wear anything less than a 5 inch stiletto). With open-toe-shoe season upon us, keep your feet looking perfect all spring and summer with this easy, DIY Lavender Foot Scrub.

What You Will Need

1/2 cup coconut oil
3/4 cup of brown sugar
1-4 drops Lavender essential oil (can be found at local health food stores or on Amazon)

(Makes approximately 6 ounces of scrub)

Step 1

Place coconut oil in a microwave safe glass cup or container. Microwave on High for 20-25 seconds until oil has become mostly liquid.

Step 2

Remove from the microwave immediately and mix the sugar with your coconut oil. Once the sugar and coconut oil are well mixed, add in your few drops of essential oil and mix a bit more.
