Set on the sprawling estate of MC and Jeff Pilon, Splendor in the Grass was a spring feté full of southern charm. Guests dined on eastern and western BBQ, short ribs and biscuits surrounded by stunning floral displays from The Bloom Room.
Blackberry mojitos, the signature drink of the evening & served in mason jars, were enjoyed while listening to the Appalachian twang of The Blue Dogs. The event was the endcap of a month long celebration of the Mint Museum, put on by the Mint Museum Auxiliary, a group that has, over the past 60 years, raised over $12 million dollars in support of The Mint Museum. Sponsors include Triad Foundation, Rinehart Wealth Management and Sona Medspa.
The funds raised from the Room to Bloom events will support community outreach, education, acquisitions for the permanent collection, the Contemporary Architecture + Design series, and the Women of Vision exhibition.
