Custo Barcelona’s designs are recognized for their vivid colors, psychedelic and geometric patterns. Many of the looks from Fall/Winter 2013 transcended into 2014, with a few modifications. This year we saw a lower level of intensity which resulted in wearable trends.
The unification of prints and solids in dual materials lead to aysemmetrical pieces. Modern A-line and sheer dresses were showcased, along with textured, mock and classic turtlenecks.
Berry shades of red, pink and purple made their way into Barcelona’s collection. Camel, gray and black peacoats played an essential role in Barcelona’s Fall/Winter 2014 look.
Reminiscent of last year, animal prints and fur pieces were prevalent. Wool, shaggy faux fur and tribal aesthetics paved the runway for another season. We saw a little less leather, more metallics and an abundance of aviator sunglasses as the accessory of choice for the catwalk.
