Meet The Editors

Erin L. Hubbs ~ Creative Director

Erin L Hubbs; Erin L Hubbs photographer; Bio

Commercial, fashion & fine art photographer Erin L. Hubbs has photographed in markets such as France, Germany, Italy and The United States of America. Her work was exhibited at Format Festival Munich, Germany, Mercedes-Benz Berlin Fashion Week Germany, and Fashion Coterie in New York City. Additional work has been documented in Atlanta, Berlin, Charleston, Charlotte, Miami, New York, Paris, and Rome to name a few. She has been in print and or has covered publications regionally, nationally, internationally including publications extending through January 2015.

Erin has photographed figures such as Designers Oscar dela Renta, Trina Turk, Nikki Kapoor of Nika Designs, TV personalities Gretchen Rossie of Bravos Real Housewives of Orange County, and Keenya Hill of Americas Next Top Model and COVERGIRL©. Additional personalities include but not limited to Brandon Sun, Russell Simmons, Kevin Liles, Arianna Huffington, & international chef Curtis Stone. Her work is also on display in The Charlotte Douglas International Airport and was named one of ‘Who’s Who’ in photography for her black and white portraiture.

Erin seeks to push her limits whether documenting fashion, commercial or portraiture and when asked her limitations her response is ” Let’s discuss your goals, mine is to photograph Jay Z in the subway, so think big”. This positive attitude including her fun loving personality and willingness to travel makes Erin a favorite among people who desire a creative path to photography.



Brittany Lapin ~ Charleston Market Editor


Brittany Lapin was born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina and has a true love for the culture and style of her hometown. She has a passion for combing the latest trends with classic southern styles and prides herself on shopping locally and supporting local business owners. In addition to Carolina STYLE, she also writes her own personal style blog, Southern Meets Chic. When Brittany is not busy writing about southern style in the city she loves, she is traveling the world immersing herself in other cultures. She lives in Mt. Pleasant with her new husband and their two spoiled rotten rescue dogs, Sully and Sophie.

Tomris McDaniel ~ Triangle Market Editor


Tomris is a mermaid transplanted from Izmir, Turkey. She graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Communication Studies. Her experience with fashion and style includes modeling, blogging, working as a personal stylist, and interning at The Source Magazine in NYC. She loves to travel and lived in Brussels and Istanbul before relocating to The Triangle. She joined the STYLE team in April 2012 as a Contributing Writer and quickly moved up to her current role as Triangle Market Editor. In this role Tomris oversees all aspects of Triangle based content including news, fashion editorials and events. She also updates Carolina STYLE’s social media networks.

Jesse Pellington ~ NYC Market Editor


Jesse Pellington was born and raised within the Bay Area in California.  There is where her love for dance, make-up artistry and deep passion for fashion began.

A regular attendee of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, she stays on top of current fashion trends and emerging designers.  Jesse styles fashion editorials and runway shows for Carolina STYLE Magazine earning her the role as NYC Market Editor in 2014.  Using her abilities & skills to help those around her and give back to her community is what she is all about.

A former professional dancer Jesse has worked with top choreographers on stage, for tv & film, all over the world since she was 15 years old.  Her work includes being an original member of Charlotte’s own EleKtriK Dance Crew, an Atlanta Finalist for BET’s show Born to Dance hosted by Laurie Ann Gibson, background dancer for various artists including Salt ‘N Peppa and Bel Biv Devoe just to name a few. Jesse is also a 4-time sport of the arts- Colorguard World Champion (2002-2005).  She is a master of just every style of dance. In 2012 Jesse moved to instructing dance throughout the Charlotte school district and multiple dance studios.

Jesse is a M.A.C Cosmetics Advanced 2 Certified Artist Alumni and freelances as a make-up artist based in NYC and a Business Manager for NARS Cosmetics.


Brie Wright ~ Publisher /Editor-in-Chief


Brie Wright is a life & style journalist and founder of STYLE Media Group, a multimedia lifestyle company activating editorial content, premium events and interactive social platforms to bring brands and consumers together.

In her role as Publisher and Editor-in-Chief at STYLE Magazine she works with her team to bring the best of fashion and style in the Carolinas to readers around the globe.  The publication continues to build a reputation that delivers both style and substance.  In 2007 she worked with industry insiders and the City of Charlotte to develop STYLE Week Charlotte receiving an official proclamation from the Mayor’s office. Brie and the STYLE team also produces the annual 25 Most Stylish People event which recognizes and celebrates people making a real impact in the community.

In addition to overseeing all aspects of the Magazine, Wright is a sought after life & style journalist, featured as a fashion & style guest on morning shows and corresponding on the red carpet.  When she’s not a featured guest, Wright is interviewing celebrated fashion icons such, hip hop legends, talk show hosts, professional athletes and even Pop Culture’s guilty pleasure, reality stars.

Wright is actively involved in philanthropic endeavors raising both money and awareness for numerous charitable causes through company events. Recently she launched Giving in STYLE, an initiative to give back to local communities in the Carolinas through volunteerism.

Her proudest accomplishment, Wright is a mother of two adorable twins, Evynne Chanel and EJ, now four years of age.
