As if Charleston couldn’t be any more delicious, MAP Management announced today the launch of 5 Church Charleston an expansion of 5 Church Charlotte, a lively, New American restaurant located in Uptown. The opening date is for the Charleston location is targeted for early summer 2015 at 32 North Market Street at the corner of Market and East Bay Street in Charleston’s historic downtown District.
The modern venue was designed to foster an enjoyable dining experience amidst a sophisticated, artistic environment. Its seasonal menu blends traditional and contemporary cuisine while sourcing fresh, local ingredients. The popular bar features 130 wines carefully selected by its level two sommelier, along with craft and bottled beer and a finely curated cocktail list created by an award-winning mixologist team.
5Church Charlotte has received numerous local and national awards since its opening in May of 2012. Most notably, it was named a “Top 100 Dining Hot Spot in America 2014” by Open Table.
The MAP Management hospitality group is led by Patrick Whalen, Ayman Kamel, Mills Howell, and Alejandro Torio. The group also owns and operates Nan and Byron’s restaurant in Charlotte’s historic South End.
