They withstand explosive blasts, eat bullets for a snack, and for the more refined 007 variety, it’s your very own central command. We all love them! From the sleek and futuristic Audi R8 of IronMan, to the all time classic DeLorean of Back 2 the Future. They’re the cars that spark up our adolescent dreams, and some of which are the cars we hoped we would pridefully drive someday. 01. 007 James Bond – Aston Martin DB5
A suave and sleek little car loaded with plenty of big naughty secrets. Within the entire continuity of 007, Bonds legendary Aston Martin DB5 has utilized and featured an arsenal of devices and weapons. This unassuming weapon on wheels contains smoke bombs, a full arms artillery, an advanced communication system, wheel destroying spikes deployed by the car’s rims. The classic ejector seat , to get out of those sticky situations among countless other features and weapons.
02. Knight Rider – 1982 Pontiac Trans-Am
This car is literally character of its own that is known by the name of KITT. (Knight Industries Two Thousand) and for the later iteration (Knight Industries Three Thousand) Its essentially a highly intelligent Supercomputer on wheels. Unlike the other supercar counterparts, KITT is built with a more evolved processor that makes this vehicle fully self aware. KITT’s processor allows it to think, learn, communicate and interact with humans. His other integrated features included the usual advanced entertainment system, which can run various computer programs and arcade games.
03. Transporter – Audi A8
This Audi A8 is just your modern fully-loaded, Luxury Class car, driven by one heck of a driver that will transport literally anything without question. So what makes this car so “Super”? In this movie this car is pushed far beyond what should seemingly be the limit for any car. This car performs without fail in all situations, guns blazing and all.
04. Back 2 the Future – DeLorean
late for an appointment? forget about it! Travel to the beginning of time, to the end of time, and everywhere in between. Jump into this DeLorean, and arriving late will become a literally the thing of the past. This car may not have the luxury touches such as an integrated gps, or an advanced entertainment interface like its counterparts. What this car lacks makes up for its singular strong suit. Facts: Though DeLorean is an American car, the DeLorean DMC-12 was originally manufactured in just outside Belfast in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland. Only 9000 DeLorean’s were made and there are an estimated 6500 still on the roads today.
05. Transformers (Bumblebee) – 2010 GM Camaro RS
For what appeared as a weathered old 1977 classic Camaro in disguise, is infact the autobot Bumblebee. This autobot transforms into this epic form of a Camaro RS, which is at the ready to act on any crisis at hand. The teen in this story got way more than he bargained for, of course with the trade off serious unwanted trouble. Facts: In 2012 GM released a special “Transformers” Edition of the featured Camaro Coupe, which was made available on the 2LT and 2SS models. Keeping within Bumblebee’s upgraded design popularized in the movie, this limited edition was finished in Rally Yellow. The Transformers package included all the content of the normal Camaro RS package, plus all of the exclusive additions like black rally stripes, a unique rear spoiler, 21-inch black painted wheels and Autobot Shield logos to the exterior. The theme carried over to the interior with black leather and contrasting yellow stitching. Embroidered Autobot logos were also included on the front headrests and center console lid.
