Celebrity Access: Go Green with Eco-Friendly Decor

It’s never a surprise to see our favorite celebrities involved in a charitable cause. And this month is no exception. April 22 is Earth Day, celebs will be showing the many ways they “go green”.

Such a simple phrase,  but in this month’s meaning has quite the double entendre.  Try pairing Emerald, the “Pantone Color of the Year,” with environmentally savvy choices for your home, straight from the stars themselves.

Orlando Bloom is so passionate about the environment that he built his home in London using solar technology. While retrofitting your home may be a bit out of budget, using energy-efficient light bulbs are beneficial for the environment and your wallet.

Adrian Grenier has a quirky, yet fun take on eco-friendly decor.  His home in Brooklyn, NY is insulated with recycled denim material! We’re not saying to start ripping the stitching out of your favorite pair of jeans, but we do have the skinny on some eco-friendly wallcoverings.

Brad Pitt, probably one of the most vocal environmental lobbyists, committed himself to not only to help rebuild New Orleans after the devastation of Hurricane Katrina, but he did so using green materials and technology. You can outfit your home the same way with just a few accessories.
