The ‘evil eye’ is an age old symbol that’s thought [through superstition] to ward off evil spirits. Often appearing in both Turkish and Egyptian artwork the eye is a universally accepted way to represent ‘the gateway to the soul.’ Of late, the design has been popping up in the accessory world – appropriately repeating history with it’s trendy modern resurgence!
