It’s A Royal Wedding! What Will Megan Wear?

Prince Harry has asked Megan Markle to be his wife and I’m here for it all. I mean, talk about dreams come true. Markle is proof that the Royal life isn’t just reserved for those with a royal bloodline, those who are British or those who have never been married (because she was briefly married once). There are so many reasons why we are rooting for her and will be following her journey down the aisle for the next few months (waiting on my invitation to the wedding so I know EXACTLY when they’ll be wed).

In the meantime, British designer Caroline Castigliano, who has dressed some of the world’s most stylish women for their weddings and red carpet events, has made her prediction on what Miss Markle will wear walking down the aisle.

“I think Megan will wear a gown that is classic yet sensual and stylish with a modern highlight,” says Castigliano.

Castigliano is sharing her sketch of a gown in a beautiful silk zibeline that has a wonderful structure and soft sheen to the finish.  The skirt is styled flat into the waist that will sculpt and show Megan’s slim waistline – it then flows out to a full skirt mounted so it holds its shape.  The bodice is a boat neck with long lace sleeves in a French Chantilly lace and follows through to a low V back in sheer Chantilly lace with the gleam of her skin tone showing through the lace.

“I think this gown would be show-stopping. It would be a nod to tradition that would be expected and required from the Royal household but would also show her personal sense of style.”

What do you think of Castigliano’s prediction?
