Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC), along with the producers of Bull City Food & Beer Experience and TASTE events (produced by Durham & Chapel Hill Magazines) are collaborating to bring the inaugural Sip + Savor – A Wine and Food Experience on October 15th, 2017, an approachable event with educational components, highlight North Carolina’s finest restaurants & culinary talents by pairing them with wine from all around the globe. Tickets go on sale Friday June 16 @ 11:00am.
This event is a fundraising event to benefit Keep Durham Beautiful (https://keepdurhambeautiful.org) a nonprofit, volunteer organization working in partnership with the City of Durham’s General Services Department and the County of Durham to bring private businesses, citizens and community organizations together to conserve and enhance the appearance and environment of Durham through cleanup events, beautification projects and educational activities.
This event will also serve as an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for local charities and missions. All three levels of the famed DPAC will be open for attendants to engage with restaurants and wineries in addition to an on-stage experience highlighting the North Carolina Wine Industry and the Agriculture that feeds it. Additionally, Causey Aviation VIP ticket holders will be hosted in the newly renovated President’s Club with rare and specialty spirits, beer & wine and private catering. The Causey Aviation VIP experience offers a private entrance and restrooms for guests to indulge.
