SouthPark announced that it will soon introduce the upscale fashion brand Johnny Was to its ever-growing retail roster. This announcement follows the 2016 openings of Fabletics, ALEX AND ANI and Altar’d State.
“The women of Charlotte are going to love Johnny Was,” said Holly Roberson, director of marketing and business development at SouthPark. “We’re thrilled to bring the boho chic brand to Charlotte, and it strengthens our list of offerings and commitment to better serve the Charlotte community with premier choices.”
Established in 1987 in Southern California, Johnny Was designs clothes and accessories that reflect an effortless elegance and embrace a relaxed lifestyle. Scheduled to open in spring 2017 next to Apple, the bohemian brand will offer a full line of fabrics, signature prints and detailed accessories; including a full line of apparel and unique scarves, handbags, jewelry and fragrance. The new store at SouthPark will mark the brand’s 21st store in the US and its first store in the state of North Carolina.
“Charlotte is a strong market for Johnny Was with our wholesale partners and on JohnnyWas.com and we are excited to be partnering with one of the best malls in the US to bring the full Johnny Was Brand experience to the women of Charlotte at SouthPark,” said Rob Trauber, CEO of Los Angeles-based, Johnny Was.
