Once again Charlotte’s fashion community gathered for its 6th annual Style Night Out. In addition to encouraging guests to shop local, Style Night Out donated a portion of proceeds to Carolina Breast Friends, an organization committed to uniting and helping women with breast cancer in all stages of survival
It is no surprise the shows creator Effie Loukas delivered yet another great production; with a slew of nationally recognized events under her belt this year’s show was no different.
As guest began to filter their way in the door you couldn’t help but feel like this was the fashion show before the fashion show. Attendees ranged from bloggers and beauty stylist to publishers and physicians, all joined together by a love for fashion and the city of Charlotte. The room was packed and with each ensemble you could truly get a sense of the amount of thoughtfulness and creativity that went into each look.
The show’s order began with runway looks from the Cheeky Bean and Silver Fly, a men’s boutique, followed by Luis Machicao and Sweet Repeats Upscale Consignment boutique just to name a few.
Trends on the runway included metal and mauve tones as well a heavy influence of the 70s, it was all flare, fringe and fur. However, of the 22 boutiques Ladies of Lineage truly stole the show with their closing look. The stunning butterfly detailing on wedding vales coupled with sleek updo’s styled by Paul Mitchell Cosmetologist added that extra oomph every bride longs for on her big day.
