Carolina Nights Concert Series packed the house over the Labor Day weekend with sounds of R&B from top Grammy awarded artist. Lines filled up quickly with over two thousand people anxious awaiting the concert. Opening the show was Charlotte-based group T.U.K (Turn up kings) including Mr. Woods, Jus K, Big Bronze, and Kyrk.
Grammy award winner and Rock Hill native Rudy Currence then took the stage serenading to all the ladies with a soulful voice and precise strokes on the piano.
Lyfe Jennings captivated the audience performing his hit songs “Must Be Nice,” “S.E.X.,” “Let’s Stay Together,” and “Gold” from his latest album, Tree of Lyfe plus more.
Keyshia Cole closed the show out performing her song from Billboard’s top 100 chart “I Changed My Mind” as well as (I Just Want It) To Be Over”, “I Should Have Cheated”, and “Love.” The Live band and the background singers made this show very appealing to your ears and left audience singing along to every word.
