Ready to heat up your chef game in the kitchen? It’s an oven-baked recipe that is also great on the grill.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Marinate: 15 minutes – 1 hour
Cook Time: 30-45 minutes
Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make this dish:
- 8 Chicken Wings
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Pepper
- 1 tablespoon Curry Powder
- 1 tablespoon Jerk Seasoning
- 1 cup Soy Sauce
- 1 cup Dark Brown Sugar
Note: You can make as many or as few chicken wings as needed for dinner, just adjust the recipe.
First, add the salt, pepper, curry powder and jerk seasoning to the wings.
Pour the brown sugar in the bowl. Drop in the chicken. Put a top on the bowl & shake the chicken around a bit. You can marinate this for 15 minutes to an hour. The chicken will still be flavorful if you only have 15 minutes to marinate.
After marinating, place a sheet of wax paper on a baking sheet. It’s much better than adding foil, your wings won’t stick. Bake the chicken at 400° for 30-45 minutes until cooked through. Bake the skin side down then 3/4 the way through, flip the chicken over, skin side up.
All set! Plate it with your preferred side (great with yellow rice and black beans).
