What To Wear For Charleston Fashion Week
With less than a week until Charleston Fashion Week, it is time to start putting outfits together (if you haven’t done so already). Many great designers are making appearances this year, like HARBISON, Trina Turk, Todd Snyder and Carlos Campos. Not to mention all the beautiful local boutiques that will be showcasing many great items.
Below we have prepared an outfit for every day of the week. Each outfit will have you looking good during the fashion show, and ready to hit all of the night’s after parties.
This outfit includes pieces from Charleston’s own Shoes on King, Très Carmen and Croghan’s Jewelry Box. Support the night’s featured shops by wearing a complete outfit from these boutiques.
The featured designer of Day 2 is HARBISON, a modern, luxurious line designed and made in New York City. Although this next outfit does not feature HARBISON, it plays into the modern, colorful esthetic of the designer’s collection. Go bright and bold on day two in one of spring’s hottest trends: red.
This day has so much in store as Belk hosts featured designer Trina Turk. It is usually customary to wear the designer who’s show you are attending, so here is an outfit that features a playful spring skirt from Trina Turk’s spring collection.
Under the tent on day four, you’ll see pieces from Gwynn’s of Mount Pleasant. Like on day one, show support for the local department store by wearing this attention-grabbing piece. This outfit features an Alice + Olivia dress, available at Gwynn’s.
The finale is sure to be a crowd pleaser with looks from featured designer Carlos Campos NY and event emcee Louise Roe. This is the night to dress in something trendy, yet sleek and sophisticated. There are always a few after parties, so dressing party-ready in something comfortable and classic will have you partying all night (and morning).
Whether you are going to one show or all five, be street style ready in any of these five Charleston Fashion Week outfits.
