On a beautiful evening in historic Charleston, I found myself downtown King Street at a fabulous fall fashion show. Hampden Clothing, owned & operated by Stacy Smallwood, hosted an impeccably styled show, held right in the middle of the stunning store.
They showcased their gorgeous fall collection including designers such as Carven, Mother of Pearl, Alexander Wang, Simone Rocha and Tibi. The pieces from various collections were styled and curated into fabulous outfits that all felt very classic yet fashion forward.
The audience was a stylish crowd of local fashion bloggers, designers, stylists and creatives. Guests enjoyed pre-show mingling and sipping on bubbly at Hampden’s sister store, JAMES, but once the show began everyone was silenced by the astonishing looks coming down the runway.
I particularly loved the combination of classic silhouettes with bold pops of color, creating a modern twist on a traditional look. Fashion is supposed to be fun and Stacy Smallwood sure keeps it that way! Hampden Clothing perfectly showcased how to mix and match separates into great outfits for fall with styles that you can easily recreate at home.
The fun didn’t stop after the show ended either! Guests were able to stay in store and shop the coveted runway looks, while discussing their show favorites with fellow fashionistas.
