Featured in Jezebel and Atlanta magazines and at LA Fashion Week (2012), Georgia resident Felicia Barth – Aasen is influenced by travel, nature and the grunge movement. The inspiration for this collection came from a tiny mountain village in Lake Placid, NY, where she found serenity, peace, and stillness.
“I aim to elevate the comfortable, draped silhouettes of yoga and meditation wear, transforming them into cool, contemporary looks,” says Barth-Aasen. “Given my strong background in sportswear, I start with activewear fabrics like nylon and jersey. I then blend them with upscale chiffon, silk jersey, and crepe de chine, all in a sophisticated, monochromatic scheme.”
