It’s just what stationary lovers ordered. An unconventional line of handcrafted illustrations and graphic designs available as notecards, pillows, tote bags and yes, iPhone cases.
Olive Paperie creator Dana Bly has worked with everyone from TRESemme’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week project (including Rebecca Minkoff, Tracey Reese, and Jenny Packham) to ESSENCE Magazine’s Relationship Editor’s branding project, to our very own Editor-in-Chief’s upcoming Eat.Drink.Be Fabulous Brunch. Former lead graphic designer at Swoozies in Charlotte, Bly branched out in 2010 to make Olive Paperie a full time operation. One of her most popular creations is her fun and fro-tasatic line called Pardon My Fro. Natural hair lovers swoon over the stylish “doll” who carries a crown of curls that even Tracy Ellis Ross would envy.
In the near future Bly would like to see her home decor and accessories line in major retailers such as Target and expand her prints to retailers as well. Until then, you’ll have to get your Olive Paperie and Pardon My Fro fix by visiting her website or following her on Instagram.
