Front Row Charlotte’s fall fashion presentation was all about MEN. This eclectic fashion show took place at Center Stage NODA, a beautiful rustic ambiance. Seating for the show made it possible for every guest to be in the “front row,” making everyone just as VIP as celebrity attendees Mrs. North Carolina America Josie Sanctis and the Bachelorette’s Emily Maynard.
The evening’s presentation showcased fall fashion from Charlotte’s men’s boutiques; Taylor Richards & Conger, Abbeydale, Blank Canvas, Silverfly, and Nordstrom. Before each store sent out their looks the audience was able to enjoy a brief video on the stores inspirations for their fall fashion styles. I thought this was a brilliant idea and it made the show much more intimate.
First to hit the runway was Taylor Richards & Conger. The models wore darker hues with mixed fabrics including, leather bomber jackets and wool tweed sports jackets. Some models were seen holding leather duffel bags. The color palette screamed fall which made for a wonderful presentation.
Abbeydale showcased lighter hues with pops of color by adding vibrant ties and pocket squares. Colors were also accented amongst the back of the collar and in the fabric lining. This was shown off by having the pants rolled up, opening the blazer, and having the collar turned up. Every model exuded sophistication with their wardrobe.
Blank Canvas added their modern twist to what a sophisticated hipster might wear. Camel cable sweaters with layering, updated trenches, as well as bright and Navaho inspired printed pants were items you could see walking down the runway.
Silverfly presented styles from such designers as; Vince, Park & Ronen, JOE’S, and Hudson. Silverfly included printed bow ties and colored shoelaces by Hook Albert to add finishing touches on this updated youthful and fun approach. I especially loved the finishing look, a shirtless male model with a beautiful printed scarf and a handsome Shiba Inu escorting him down the runway.
Nordstrom secured the finale spot showing off their handsomely put together fall fashion looks. Designers presented down the runway included; 7 for all mankind, Diesel, and BOSS by Hugo Boss. Models also wore Happy Socks to add style to their feet. Nordstrom pulled styles for updated suits, wool pea coats, as well as more casual looks featuring camouflage printed pants.
This fashion show had it all, handsome male models showing off the latest in fall fashion as well as an amazing cause! Proceeds for The Men’s Show will be going towards Coalition To Unchain Dogs.
I can’t wait to start shopping for the men in my life and more importantly I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Spring!
