NC Local Music’s 6th Anniversary Show

For the past 6 years NC Local Music has been dedicated to spreading the love of North Carolina’s local musical talent. NC Local Music strives to encourage the up-coming artists to move to the next level, working with venues and other promotion companies to help new artists get their foot in the door, and give an added push to unknown artists to get their name out in the public eye. Come out and celebrate their 6th year of providing the NC music scene. Featuring Hierosonic who have been featured on MTV, VH1 and The Andy Dick Show, Fields of Mars, Russ Thompson, The Resonance Cascade, and Black Heart Kings. This is an 18+ event. MASS APPEAL, Volume 10

It’s time for our monthly dose of all things NC Hip Hop! This month, Mass Appeal brings to you live art projected on the side of the building by artist CJ Calvin. Bersk from Midnight Anchor and Sky Krew will be lighting up the panels painting live outside. Bboy Sube will be tearing up the floor while featured DJ Pangea along with DJ Merlin and SPCLGST will keep things moving all night long inside and on the patio. Iconic Luxury Nail Polish Launch Party

Iconic Luxury Nail Colour is a color line with unbelievable color selection.  This inaugural collection is called Parisian Socialite a collection of colors that celebrate the luxurious Parisian lifestyle.

Brainstorming Social for Designers, Retailers and Boutique Owners

Time: 6:00 – 7:30PM

Location: Bia Restaurant at SOLAS

A casual networking event with the opportunity to offer your perspective on the fashion and textiles business community: your needs, goals, and what you think would enable you to expand your business. The event will start with an open forum for ideas followed by an informal group discussion. Designers, retailers, boutique owners, and other stakeholders in the fashion and textiles community are welcome. Official Oak City Collective Launch Party 

Date: Wednesday, July 17th

Time: 7:00 – 10:00PM

Location: Raleigh Times Bar

The premise of Oak City Collective is to create community involvement through apparel designs that reflect the city of Raleigh and our local artists, musicians and creative contributors. A percentage of each design will be donated directly to a local charity or organization chosen by each artist. The hope is that this project will not only bring a sense of unity to the city of Raleigh, but also recognition to our vast creative scene and the artists that make Raleigh so unique. TriFABB and Apricot Boutique Grand Opening

Date: Saturday, July 13th

Time: Festivities begin at 12:00PM // Fashion Show at 7:15PM

Location: The Streets at Southpoint

Apricot Lane, a popular boutique featuring celebrity-inspired affordable fashions for the everyday woman, will host a celebration for the grand opening of their third Triangle location at The Streets at Southpoint. Apricot Lane is working with TriFABB, a local group of fashion beauty, and lifestyle bloggers, and Models for Charity, a nonprofit organization of professionals who raise money for Triangle charities through modeling. The partnerships aim to raise awareness and funds for Transforming Hope, a Durham-based nonprofit that works to transform the lives of human trafficking victims. Apricot Lane in Southpoint will donate 15 percent of all sales on Saturday, July 13 back to Transforming Hope.
