Vintage Charlotte (known by friends and fans as simply VTGCLT) will be popping up for their second annual Summer Market on June 29, 2013 at The Fillmore. The Vintage Charlotte Summer Market is an indoor/outdoor event and will include 60+ vendors of vintage, antique and handmade goods including housewares, furniture, decor, clothing, jewelry and more. In addition to local handmade and vintage shopping, this time around there will also be a beer garden featuring local beers, food trucks and live music.
Vintage Charlotte held its first ever event a year ago and has grown exponentially. Many shoppers line up before the doors open to get the first pick of all the hard -to-find vintage goods. With all the success, founder of Vintage Charlotte, Amy Herman, states “Vintage Charlotte is really a labor of love, there are so many amazing things going on right here in Charlotte. I try to use our markets to highlight some of the best local small business, local food, drink and this time around even local music.”
Admission to Vintage Charlotte’s Summer Market is free of charge, but if you want to beat the crowds and have the first pick at everything there is an early bird admission of $5 which gets you in an hour before the doors open to the general public. Doors open at 11am, 10am for early birds.
