Wednesday, May 15, the Martin Truex, Jr. Foundation hosted the 4th Annual Catwalk for a Cause, presented by Lavendar, Avalilly’s and Fresh Boutique in Cornelius, NC. The event raised $60,000 to benefit the “Martin Truex Jr. Special Needs Fund” at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC. The fund provides financial assistance for patients and families of children being treated at the hospital.
The night featured spring looks by the boutiques with musical entertainment, gourmet food, a silent auction and raffle prizes.
The highlight of the night were the children that directly benefit from the MTJF Special Needs Fund, walk the Catwalk to raise money for their own cause.
The Martin Truex Jr. Foundation is “hooked on helping” and dedicated to positively impacting the lives of children in need. The foundation partners with organizations that are limited in funding and visibility who touch the lives of children stricken by illness, neglect and poverty.
