The Men of the MET Gala

Keeping it Classy

Blue suits are in. There were quite a few royal blue suits on this year’s red carpet. More important than the color of the suit is the fit / style of the suit. These STYLE savvy guys look fantastic in their picks for the evening!

Below: Alec Baldwin in unidentified designer. This guy is constantly wearing suits that are classically flattering to his figure. He is an absolute testament to the reality that ‘fit’ is essential. The best suit for each individual figure will select itself. Be open to wearing the ‘fits’ that work best to tailor your silhouette.

Proper Punks

These Gala attendees opted to fall in line with the punkish theme. Untamed tresses, under-toned goth queues and less formal footwear set these guys apart.

Trend Setters:

This year patterns absolutely permeated the red carpet runway. Designers such as Calvin Klein, Vivienne Westwood, Tom Ford and Tommy Hilfiger really pulled out all the stops to saturate the men’s wear at the event.
