Zelebrate a Cure for Cancer: A Red Tie Event

Raleigh’s very own Sarah Styron invites you to raise your glass to the most elegant fundraiser of the year. Give in STYLE by supporting Sarah Styron’s Woman of the Year Campaign, while raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS). Enjoy an evening complete with delicious hors d’oeuvres, great music, enticing raffles, step&repeat and even a signature drink, all in the name of philanthropy. Art2Wear 2013 Runway Show

Date: Thursday, April 25th

Location: Court of North Carolina NC State University Campus

Art 2 Wear (A2W) is an educational event where students gain experience by coordinating and producing an annual show. Young designers are challenged to imagine, create, and inspire by expressing their point of view through wearable art. This highly anticipated fashion show fuses the talents of both NC State’s College of Design and College of Textiles, exposing student designers to the broader field of fashion. A2W’s vision is to inspire and challenge our audience and designers to think about clothing in a different way.

Triangle Beach Music Festival

Date: Saturday, April 27th

Location: Bryan Farms, Garner

The Triangle Beach Music Festival is in its 15th year! The biggest beach party on the East Coast featuring the best beach music and Top 40 bands in the world. The TBMF will once again return to Garner with a day of great music, great food, and tons of fun in the sun! Featured acts include Band of Oz, Jim Quick & Coastline, Spare Change, and the Craig Woolard Band. Tickets at the gate will be $35 cash – get your tickets early and save! Brewgaloo 

Date: Saturday, April 27th

Time: 3:00 – 9:00 PM

Location: City Plaza

Presented by Shop Local Raleigh, Brewgaloo features craft breweries from North Carolina and partners with local food trucks. Entertainment will be provided for guests by local bands such Jack the Radio and Gravy Boys. There will also be the opportunity to shop local including Oak City Collective’s screen print apparel, bags and prints that reflect the city of Raleigh, local artists, musicians and creative contributors. Support your local economy, local beer and food vendors and come out for a great cause!

DURHAM

COLUMBIA

The 6th Annual Style Exhibition

Date: Friday, April 26th & Saturday, April 27th

Time: Door at 6:30 PM// Show at 7:30 PM

Location: The Medallion Center

Organized by 3JayProductions, the Style Exhibition is an annual event held in the spring and is a three-day culmination of events highlighting the business of fashion, beauty and entertainment in the local community. This year’s theme is “Concordia” which is a Latin term for harmony. There will be a trend-setter showcase on Friday, April 26th, followed by a finale showcase on Saturday, April 27th. Designers include Nepenthe, Lauren DeVaughn and Camille Jeanay.
