Trends: Pantone’s Fashion Color Report Fall 2013

Trends: Pantone’s Fashion Color Report Fall 2013

As New York City kicked off Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week last Thursday, Pantone unveiled its Fashion Color Report for Fall 2013. Featuring the top 10 colors for women’s and men’s fashion, the report is a comprehensive overview of designers’ use of color in the upcoming collections. The showcased designs express the varying moods of fall, using colors to create a range of sophisticated, structured, lively and vivid looks.

Below: Kelly Wearstler. Mykonos Blue, a bold, meditative blue, for a classic and relaxed fall look.

Below: Hervé Léger. Yellow-toned Linden Green brings a lightness and brightness to the deeper shades of fall.

Below: Nanette Lepore. Exotic Acai adds mystery and richness to the palette, and can be incorporated with the other colors to create a number of powerful fall combinations.

Below: Rachel Roy. Spirited Samba red for an expressive and dramatic look.

Below: Bibhu Mohapatra. Koi, a decorative orange with dazzling and shimmering qualities, is a statement color that serves as a pick-me-up for your wardrobe.

Below: Pamella Roland. Deep Lichen Green, a naturally lush shade of green.

Below: Tadashi Shoji. Vivacious, an unruly and wildly deep fuchsia, adds an ebullient sensuality to the palette.

Below: Joy Cioci. While the greens from spring evolve and develop, multifaceted Emerald continues to sparkle and fascinate, bringing luxury and elegance to the palette.
