Deconstruction Zone: Edun Fall 2013

By  |

Though the overall feel was grunge, a hodgepodge of aesthetics were at work in the Edun Fall ’13 collection. Plaid was a defining factor, no doubt, but in iterations ranging from cherry red in buffalo print to muted metallic a la MC Hammer. An abundance of leather legging, moto jackets and chain detailing screamed ’90s grunge while pops of structured tweed kept it from feeling too costume-esque. Long-haired models sported loose waves and dark eyeliner for a girly rockstar look. In spite of multi-era encompassing pieces, the new collection worked to be cohesive in a deconstructed grunge kind of way.
