Casting Call: Box Brown Movie

This is a casting call for extras for a four (4) hour block of time Thursday, January 3rd, 2013, at a historic site in Chapel Hill, NC.

Box Brown is the incredible true story of Henry “Box” Brown, an American slave who mailed himself to freedom in Philadelphia in 1849.

Box Brown is brought to you by the makers of the new feature film, DAR HE: The Lynching of Emmett Till (2012), Directed by Rob Underhill, and featuring Mike Wiley.

BREAKDOWN: Extras for this scene are predominately Caucasian males and females, however some African Americans actors can be included. Since 1850 Philadelphia would have been an immigration destination, other nationalities are welcome to apply!
