Trends: Street STYLE from Miami | Art Basel
Fashion met Art in Miami Beach at the 12th edition of Art Basel, from December 6th – 9th.
The eclectic mix of art and fashion made for a very vibrant environment. Fashionistas and art lovers from around the globe came together in the streets of South Beach, turning them into a mosaic of high-end designer looks (complete with clashing prints and bright colors.) ‘Street’ STYLE dominated the scene, with wedge sneakers being the most popular shoe. Denim, rompers and statement graphics were the most prominent looks. There was a distinct STYLE in Miami during Art Base – a STYLE that screamed art and creativeness.

Below: Leading in leather. New York Fashion Week’s Spring 2013 shows were dominated by luscious textures, with leather playing the leading role. No need to wear it head to toe, touches here and there are best.
Below: Nothing made a bolder statement at the 2013 Spring shows than the gold necklaces coming down the runway. Mostly of Eastern influence, more delicate pieces can be layered. Opt for one major bold piece to amp up your look.
Below: Red and Lace. Whether it’s an accent, or the main attraction, red and lace are two looks that scream GLAMOUR! The pop of color adds a modern-edge to the boudoir-feel of delicate lace.
