Emerald green is Pantone’s ‘color of the year’ for 2013 – and Heather’s ahead of the game. Always STYLEish with her careful shoe and clothing selections, today’s outfit is no exception. Virtually all of her garments (including the hot new shoes) were purchased from Fifi’s Consignment Boutique, in Cameron Village. She raves about this shop!

Heather is definitely a texture mixer with her many wools, knits and leathers. She has had a very worldly upbringing, and I feel that it reflects strongly in her clothing. The image is intentionally textured to match the way that the light reflects off her wool jacket. I’ve been very inspired by almost fantasy-like portraiture recently.

Classic, yet edgy.

I’m a commission garment and soft-goods designer. I create high-end garments for private clients, exclusively. I have an undergraduate degree in Graphic design from Parsons School of Design and Virginia Commonwealth University; and a graduate degree in Industrial Design from NCSU. I compete on a national level in competitive fashion arts. I have a very divergent work history and I look for inspiration absolutely everywhere!
