Avery’s Angels® Gastroschisis Foundation, in partnership with Raleigh’s Noir Nightclub, will be hosting a fashion show featuring local, independent North Carolina designers. All proceeds from this event will benefit Avery’s Angels®, a 501(c)3 nonprofit patient advocacy organization that provides support services and education to families and infants impacted by gastroschisis, a birth defect in which some or all of an infant’s intestines and other internal organs protrude from the abdomen.

The fashion show will be held on Friday, December 14, 2012 from 8-10pm at Noir Night Club in downtown Raleigh.

Designers will have the opportunity to showcase their work in a runway setting while simultaneously helping to give back to the local community. In recent years, Avery’s Angels® has made an impact locally, providing parent support and care packages to those affected by gastroschisis, as well as nationally and internationally, attending major medical conferences as an advocate for children and families affected by the birth defect.

Designer applicants need to submit a resume and portfolio. All applications should be submitted electronically to Meghan Hall with the subject line “Designer Search” and must be submitted by November 30th 2012.
