3. 1 Million by Paco Rabanne

Paco Rabanne has been a leading vanguard fashion designer since the 60’s. He tends to use his artistic and innovative direction to push the boundaries of fashion.

Released in 2008, “1 Million” is Rabanne’s most popular men’s fragrance to date. The spicy woody (full of energy and vitality) combination was inspired by Rabanne’s metallic fashions and as developed by perfume makers Olivier Pescheux, Christophe Raynaud and Michel Girard.

This multi-faceted, high-impact fragrance is intensely masculine. Grapefruit invites you into this audacious scent and then opens to top notes of mint and blood mandarin. Striking and assertive middle notes follow with a refined yet virile combination of rose, cinnamon, and spicy notes. The base notes evoke the ultimate velvety harmony of leather, white wood, amber and Indonesian patchouli essences. Once combined, the result is not merely one fragrance, but, an elegant one-of-a kind intermingling of essences.

Paco Rabanne’s “1 Million” cologne bottle is modeled after a gold ingot and is very creative and imaginative. Referencing Rabanne’s legendary use of metallic colors in fashion, this bottle reinterprets the simple yet breathtakingly beautiful bar of gold. Its “Wild West” type design is a masculine tribute to the pioneers of our childhood memories.

Type: Woody – Spicy

Top Note: Ruby Mandarin Orange, Grapefruit, Peppermint Middle Note: Rose Absolute, Cinnamon, Spices Base Note: Blond Leather, Patchouli, White Woods, Amber

The cologne is both intoxicating and comforting due to the aromas of mimosa flower, port wine, and leather. The spicy components reference cool and wet London days where you’re bundled up by a blazing fire drinking port with honeyed, burnt cocoa-laced tobacco. Splash a bit of this spicy cologne on your wrists or use it as an aftershave during your daily routine.

Middle Note: Mimose and leather Top Note: Black pepper, cinnamon leaves, lavender and bergamot Base Note: Opoponax, tobacco leaf, guaiac wood and oakmoss
