Beauty Product Must Haves: Shiseido’s Ultimate Sun Protection Cream for Face

$35 $32
From Sephora.com

With temperature’s soaring, it is imperative that you keep your skin hydrated and protected. Shiseido’s Ultimate Sun Protection Cream for Face provides lightweight and oil-free coverage that you can use all year round.

The cream comes in SPF 55 and 38, providing protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays that are known to cause skin damage. It is lightly perfumed, leaving a subtle, clean odor.  Don’t hesitate to use it as a base under your make-up as it is non-greasy and blends in easily, leaving your skin smooth and free of heavy residue.
I have been using this product for a few years now by recommendation of my dermatologist and have no intentions of switching to a different brand. This is the first sun protection product that I have used that has not caused breakouts, build up of oil, while still shielding me from sunburn and skin damage.
This product is a “must” for those who are active outdoors. Its full-coverage property means that it is resistant to water and perspiration, making it perfect for a day at the pool or on the beach.  As it doesn’t leave a moist residue, sand doesn’t stick to it easily which is a huge plus when participating in more physical activities on the beach, such as surfing or beach volleyball.
Though a little pricier than its drug store counterparts, it is well worth it as a little goes a long way; the 2oz tube lasts me through the summer and beyond. Definitely a year-round skin care essential!
