STYLE Spotlight: Carolina STYLE Magazine Launch and 25 Most Stylish
“Expansion: Always in all ways.” A favorite motto in business, and witnessed on Friday, April 20th which marked the premiere of Carolina STYLE Magazine, a lifestyle publication highlighting fashion and style in the Carolinas while keeping readers abreast of style trends around the world. Carolina STYLE Magazine’s premiere issue debuted at a lavish celebration of the 25 Most Stylish People in the Triangle. The celebration took place at Spy Raleigh (330 West Davie Street, Raleigh, NC 27601) in the heart of downtown. “Giving in STYLE”, the magazine launch benefited the Susan G. Komen Foundation of NC Triangle.
Carolina STYLE Magazine is a sister publication of Charlotte STYLE which has been in production since 2008, and currently has an international readership over 85,000 people. The magazine has been invited to cover fashion weeks in the states and abroad, and has provided readers fun and insightful interviews with rising stars and living legends including Oscar de la Renta, Isaac Mizrahi, Wendy Williams, Kristin Davis, Rev Run, Christian Siriano, Cam Newton, and more.
The 25 Most Stylish Event celebrated tastemakers in the fashion, business, and non-profit industries who are making a real impact in the Triangle. The event featured fashion presentations by local designers from The Art of Style boutique, and Republique Rouge by Kristi Stewart. Located in the heart of the Triangle, our event partner Vietri is the largest wholesaler, and one of the last privately owned importers of fine Italian handcrafted dinnerware in the Americas. Their exquisite pieces showcased the decadent desserts provided by Raleigh CakePops and Sweet C’s Bakery. Production assistance was provided by Amanda Manares, of Evince Planning|Consulting who partnered with local production supply companies Andy’s Tents and Events, and PA Man of Raleigh. The setting provided for a fashion forward scene, as guests enjoyed a photography art exhibit by participating photographers Dimitri Williams Photography, John Martinez Photography, Smassh Studios, and Swank Photo Studio.
The highlight of the evening was the introduction by founder and Editor-in-Chief, Bridgette West. Bridgette encouraged the Triangle community to utilize the magazine as a means of connecting the fashion and lifestyle communities, and showcasing the many talents living in the Triangle. Bridgette thanked the contributors of the magazine Creative Director- Adam Wamsley and Beauty Editor- Shavon Lyon, and made the official announcement of the 25 Most Stylish People.
